Coron Palawan Early Summer Vacation

My college friends were planning to visit our friends hometown in Busuanga Palawan in February 2013.

So they book a 2 way ticket from Zest Air worth 4,700 each. I think its expensive because there are too many promos and discounts on flights, but its OK because I see my self enjoying this vacation.

I shouldn't be joining this trip because they already bought tickets with their names, unfortunately one of my classmate back out and told me to buy the ticket and she will just make an ID with her name and my picture on it. First i'm afraid coz what if they need another ID, they will see that i'm not the real person on the ticket name, but my other classmate told me that they already have the same issue in the past and you just need to give one ID and no other checking needed. 

Our flight is 2:50pm in Manila and we arrive at Coron 45 mins after. We just wait for our luggage. After that, we rode a van from airport to Coron. I think it cost around 150 or less, i forgot.

Before going to our classmates house we stop to eat something for our merienda. We have burger, fries and sandwiches.

Then after eating, we went to shore where the small boat that my classmate's parent owned is waiting for us.

They said that the boat ride will take about 3 hours.

During our boat ride, first i'm excited, but when the sea becomes wavy, I get nervous because its dark, and we do not have life vest and i don't know how to swim in case you know.

The boat ride took about 5 hours, it is so looong and its cold.

We arrive in the house about 12am. We ate dinner, then sleep.

First thing in the morning, we will be doing an island hopping, yey, this should be fun.
But before that, we eat first and fixed our things and ourselves. haha

The pictures are the sea side on the house of our classmates. There are too many jelly fish, but they are not itchy or something. In fact, you can hold them because they are small.

Our first stop is the Black Island. I don't know why they call it like that. Haha. It takes us about an hour to reach the island.

Isn't it beautiful, the island has an entrance fee, 20Php per person, but of course we have a palawanian with us haha, so we didn't have to pay.

The island also has a cave. It not that huge. Inside the cave, it has a hot spring like water, maybe.

We stay in the island for hours, we enjoy swimming and picture taking, but i don't get lots of photos because i was busy swimming haha, my other classmate has her DSLR so shes in charge of the picture taking. c:

They also have time to drink there and eat. We brought seafoods and rice with us.

After that, we went to another island where we will have to spend the night. The island have many cottages but our group was their only guest that night.

I didn't get pictures in this island because there is an incident happen.

When my classmates and I are having fun chatting and drinking on the sea side, the care taker called our classmate who is gay, they said that they just wanna talk to him. Couple of minutes pass, we didn't see him and the care taker.

Another couple of minutes passed, our classmate is crying saying that he was raped by the care taker. So we are now all nervous and didn't know what to do. So we went to our cottage and lock all the doors, because we did not what anything to happen again, and our group have more women than men. Our gay classmate told us what happened, there is no intercourse happen, but the care taker kiss him and hold some of his private parts. That is foul, but we did not have the courage to confront them because maybe they are drunk that time. So we just wait for the morning to tell the owner of the island about the incident.

Morning came, our classmates who knew the owner said that she will just call the owner after we leave the island. So we just pack our bags and didn't have the time to take pictures because of what happens last night.

 After the creepy island, we went back to our classmates house. The boat ride took about 1-2 hours.
We ate lunch there and then pack our bags because we will go back now to Coron. We will spend our night there, because tomorrow is our flight back to Manila.

We brace ourselves for about 5 hours of boat ride again. haha.

The boat ride was scary, the waves are big. But thank God were safe.

The hotel that we were supposed to stay was fully booked. Were Doomed haha just kiddin'. So we have to find hotel to stay. And some local tell us where to stay. The hotel was nice, good and cheap. The r

Our room was big, and it can accommodate 8 persons. Our flight is 4pm. Around 11am we ate our lunch.

The serving there are slow, we have our lunch around 1pm, and we need to be in the airport 2hours before our flight. So we do not have time to buy our 'pasalubong'. After we eat we take a bath,  some of us dont have time to take a bath because the van are waiting for us outside the hotel. haha.

In the airport there are some store selling pasalubong, thank God, so i can bus some stuff for my family. I also buy cashew nuts.

Baguio the 2nd time around! :))

Last March 30 2012 me and my classmates went to Baguio. 

Its my classmates birthday, he's paying for the hotel accommodation, all we  have to  pay is the bus fare from manila to Baguio.

We all have work, so we didn't went there at the same time.

Before we arrived at Baguio, we first went to Pangasinan to pick up the birthday celebrant.

We ate there, and we ride bus again, from Urdaneta to Baguio.

We almost arrive at the same time in Baguio with our other classmates, because they did not go to Pangasinan.

After our arrival, our hotel is walking distance across the bus terminal Victory liner. First we did not know where the hotel is, we asked the guard at the terminal, and tell us how to go there. 

Then we finally found it. It is beside SM Baguio. You will see Sm in front of the hotel.

After our check in. We wait for our other classmates, and when they arrived we decided to go to Burn-ham Park. I thought that the boat ride there is closed, but when we get there, some people still offer us for a ride and much cheaper than the morning price.

20 pesos each. So we have 2 boats.

We almost spend 2 hrs in the boat. haha

After boating, the guys want to drink. So we find some bar, we ask the taxi driver if he knew some bar in baguio. So He drove us there, but the bar that he was saying is, for adults and women are not allowed. haha, so we decided to go to Padis Point, it's near the Burn-ham Park.

When we are finished, we walk straight to our hotel. Our hotel is just walking distance.

Our hotel room have 3 separate rooms and 1 sala with sink.

Day 2

Our hotel accommodation have free breakfast. You will choose between Filipino or American breakfast.

The foods are delicious.

After we've eaten, we went to Mines View Park.

There still too many people coming in to mines view.

The view was beautiful, and we can see some grave on the backyards, most of the people in Baguio bury their love ones on their backyards.

After Mines View Park, we went to Tree Top Adventure at Camp John Hay.

When we arrive there, we decided to go for a zip-line.

After this, our classmates friend suggested that we should eat at a famous diner in Baguio, The 50's Diner.

The place was like a typical american old diner.

Its is beautiful. The walls have old poster, album, etc..

The waitress have cute uniforms, and of course the food was good.

We are all full after eating at 50's diner. Haha

Then we went to Botanical Garden.

Some place at the botanical garden was under construction.

I remember the mini cave that we enter. It is so dark there and like you where on a puzzle. We did not know where the exit was, some of us are scared because of the long darkness that we encounter.

After Botanical Garden, We are off to Strawberry Fields in La Trinidad Benguet.

The ride there was long because there is a traffic at the highway.

We're lucky because its strawberry season.

The one basket of strawberry that you will be picking is 400 pesos and if you don't pick and just buy outside the field, the price is half.

After the strawberry fields, we went to Baguio Market to buy some 'pasalubong'.

There was too many tourist at the market.

After buying pasalubong, we went back to hotel and take a rest.

Me and my friend decided to go to SM.

Day 3

Our check out time at the hotel is 12 pm so we still have the morning to go in other places. Some of us went to church, and  market some, stays at the hotel.

Then we have our breakfast.

after Baguio we went to Isdaan, at Gerona Tarlac.
